Dr. Marc Scheufen studied economics at the Philipps University of Marburg in Hesse from 2005 to 2010 and received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg in 2014.
He has been Academic Councilor at the Faculty of Law of the Ruhr University Bochum since 2015. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer for Quantitative Data Analysis at the FOM in Düsseldorf as well as an economist in the Big Data Analytics research group at the German Economic Institut (IW) in Cologne.
He is also co-author of the book “The Economics of Open Access”, which was published in 2018.
